About the Role

Fisher Human Resource Consultancy is seeking a Risk Engineer / Contracts Administrator to join a team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on identifying, assessing, and mitigating technical, contractual, commercial, and operational risks within EPC and construction projects. The successful candidate will also administer project contracts, ensuring compliance with contractual obligations and industry standards.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this position is to support project teams in minimizing risk, protecting commercial interests, and achieving successful project delivery. The role requires a professional with 2-5 years of experience in a relevant field.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, assess, and monitor technical, contractual, commercial, and operational risks across EPC and construction projects.
  • Conduct risk assessments using methodologies such as HAZOP, FMEA, LOPA, and Bow-Tie, and maintain project risk registers.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and monitor Key Risk Indicators (KRIs).
  • Review engineering designs, project plans, and contracts to identify and mitigate project risks.
  • Administer EPC, construction, procurement, and subcontract agreements throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Manage contract compliance, variations, change orders, claims, extensions of time (EOT), and contract documentation.
  • Support tender evaluations, contractual risk assessments, and dispute avoidance.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Procurement, Commercial, Legal, and HSE teams to manage project risks and contractual matters.
  • Prepare risk and contract reports, maintain documentation, and ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards.
  • Promote risk management best practices through guidance and awareness initiatives.

Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant risk engineering or contracts administration role.
  • Demonstrated experience with risk assessment methodologies such as HAZOP, FMEA, LOPA, and Bow-Tie.
  • Proven ability to administer complex EPC and construction contracts.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
