About the Role

IC İçtaş İnşaat / IC İctas Construction, a global entity with over 50 years of experience in diverse domestic and international projects, is seeking a dedicated Risk Manager. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will focus on a significant road and infrastructure project. The role requires a professional with a minimum of 10 years of experience in risk management.

Role Overview

The Risk Manager will be responsible for leading comprehensive risk management activities for a major road and infrastructure project in Riyadh. This involves identifying potential risks, assessing their impact, and developing effective mitigation strategies to ensure project objectives are met. The role requires close collaboration with project teams and stakeholders throughout all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough risk assessments for road and bridge projects, identifying hazards and devising mitigation plans.
• Integrate risk management processes into the project lifecycle by collaborating with project managers and stakeholders.
• Monitor and report on project risk exposure, using risk management tools to track progress and mitigation effectiveness.
• Develop and implement risk management policies and procedures aligned with industry best practices for road and bridge construction.
• Facilitate risk workshops and training sessions to promote a proactive risk culture among project teams.
• Analyze project data and historical performance to identify trends and inform future risk strategies.
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and industry associations to stay informed about compliance and emerging risks.
• Prepare detailed risk reports and presentations for senior management, outlining risk exposure and reduction strategies.
• Lead cross-functional teams in developing contingency plans and response strategies for identified risks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline from an accredited university.
• A minimum of 20 years of experience in large-scale infrastructure projects, including bridges, underpasses, overpasses, roads, and highways.
• Demonstrated experience in project risk management across planning, design, and construction phases.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite, with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.

Skills and Competencies

• Excellent command of English (written and spoken). Arabic proficiency is considered a plus.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.
• Solid understanding of risk management frameworks and methodologies, including risk registers, risk matrices, and qualitative/quantitative analysis.
