About Foodics and the Risk Officer Role

We are seeking a Risk Officer to join our team in Riyadh Province, Riyadh, for a full-time position. This role is suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience.

Role Purpose and Contribution

The Risk Officer will play a crucial role in supporting the development and ongoing maintenance of Foodics' comprehensive risk management framework. Working under the direct guidance of the Risk Lead, this position is responsible for assisting in the identification, assessment, and management of the company’s risk exposures. The objective is to ensure that all risks are handled within the defined risk appetite and in full compliance with relevant regulatory requirements and established industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing SAMA regulations pertinent to Foodics’ operations, including licensing, capital adequacy, and reporting requirements.
  • Contribute to the development and updating of risk policies and procedures in alignment with regulatory guidelines.
  • Support the preparation and submission of necessary reports to regulatory bodies such as SAMA.
  • Participate in risk identification activities across various domains, including operational, financial, credit, market, and cybersecurity risks.
  • Help maintain and enhance the company’s risk management framework and risk register.
  • Support the design and execution of stress testing and scenario analysis.
  • Assist in developing and delivering training sessions on risk management principles and compliance requirements.
  • Help communicate risk-related updates and practices to relevant teams and stakeholders.
  • Support ongoing monitoring of risk exposures and evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation strategies.
  • Aid in internal and external audit preparations and follow-up on audit findings.
  • Prepare routine risk reports and dashboards for management review.
  • Ensure accurate documentation of risk assessments, decisions, and procedures.
  • Maintain organized records in accordance with internal and regulatory standards.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Demonstrated understanding of risk assessment, control methodologies, and reporting principles.
  • Familiarity with SAMA regulations and compliance requirements is considered a plus.
  • Good project coordination and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and G-Suite tools.
  • A collaborative attitude, proactive mindset, and strong attention to detail.
