About the Role
RAWAJ, a leading company specializing in the chemical manufacturing industry, is seeking a Sales Director - Chemical Manufacturing to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a strong commercial leader with over 10 years of experience. The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy, expanding market share, managing key accounts and distribution channels, and delivering revenue and profitability targets within the paints, coatings, construction materials, or a related industry.
Strategic Sales Leadership
- Develop and execute the national sales strategy in alignment with overall business objectives.
- Deliver against revenue, volume, margin, and market-share targets.
- Lead major commercial negotiations and establish strategic customer agreements.
- Establish clear sales targets, define performance indicators, and implement incentive plans.
- Provide regular sales forecasts and performance updates to senior management.
Market Development and Growth
- Expand business across retail, wholesale, project, contractor, and industrial channels.
- Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and geographic areas for growth.
- Improve pricing strategies, product mix, sales forecasting accuracy, and customer profitability.
- Monitor competitor activity, market trends, and evolving customer requirements to inform strategy.
Team and Stakeholder Management
- Lead and develop regional sales managers, key-account teams, and channel-sales teams.
- Strengthen relationships with distributors, dealers, consultants, contractors, and major customers.
- Work closely with marketing, operations, supply chain, and finance teams to ensure alignment and support.
Qualifications and Experience
- Over 10 years of proven experience in sales leadership within paints, coatings, construction chemicals, building materials, or a related sector.
- Strong knowledge of the Saudi and GCC markets.
- Demonstrated success in achieving revenue growth and expanding market share.
- Extensive experience managing distributors, dealers, key accounts, and project sales.
