About the Sales & Distribution Manager Role

Dofreeze LLC is seeking a Sales & Distribution Manager to oversee its overall sales business within the Saudi Arabian market. This full-time position requires a candidate with 5-10 years of experience, particularly within the Food & Beverages (F&B) sector, and a strong understanding of the bakery and/or confectionery industries.

Key Responsibilities

The Sales & Distribution Manager will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive sales strategies to achieve market share and revenue goals, while identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities within Saudi Arabia. This role involves managing and nurturing relationships with key accounts across various trade markets, ensuring alignment of sales plans with overall business objectives and market trends. The manager will oversee retailer terms, conditions, and promotional activities based on ROI, and will be responsible for the Profit & Loss (P&L) of their sales operations.

Effective execution of sales plans and promotional activities is crucial. The role includes monitoring retailer sales performance and implementing necessary corrective actions. Additionally, the manager will conduct thorough market research to stay informed about consumer trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics, analyzing sales data to identify opportunities and areas for improvement. Detailed sales reports and market analysis will be prepared and presented to senior management, alongside maintaining detailed knowledge of retailer pricing structures and operational processes.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must possess exceptional negotiation skills with a proven ability to close deals. The capacity to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, retail partners, and distributors is essential. An established network and connections within Saudi Arabia’s modern, general, and other trade markets are required. The ability to effectively present data, strategies, and performance reports to stakeholders is also a key requirement.

Educational requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience. A minimum of 7-8 years of experience within the Food & Beverages (F&B) sector in the Saudi Arabia market is necessary, with extensive experience working across different trade channels in the region. Experience and connections in dealing with senior management and buying authorities of various trade accounts are also important.

This position is based in Saudi Arabia and operates on a full-time basis. The role is designed for an experienced professional who can independently manage and drive sales growth within a competitive market landscape.
