Sales Manager (Saudi National Only)

About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Sales Manager (Saudi National Only) to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role is responsible for proactively identifying and managing sales opportunities, ensuring timely and proper handover for service delivery. The Sales Manager will contribute to leading daily sales activities, focusing on building long-term, value-based customer relationships to achieve sales objectives and personal sales goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure coordinated and complementary sales efforts.
• Build and strengthen relationships with existing and new customers through sales calls, entertainment, FAM trips, and trade shows to secure future bookings.
• Develop community relationships to expand the customer base and identify new sales opportunities.
• Manage and develop relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate, complete, and effective turnover of business to Event Management.
• Participate in sales calls with team members to acquire new business or close existing deals.
• Execute and support operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals, writing contracts, and managing customer correspondence.

Market Analysis and Revenue Maximization

• Identify new business opportunities to achieve personal and location revenue goals.
• Understand the overall market, including competitors' strengths and weaknesses, economic trends, and supply and demand, to effectively position sales strategies.
• Close the most advantageous opportunities for the location based on market conditions and specific needs.
• Gain an understanding of the location’s primary target customer and service expectations to offer tailored business solutions.

Customer Service Excellence

• Support the company’s service and relationship strategy, fostering customer loyalty through service excellence.
• Service customers to increase account share.
• Execute and support the company’s customer service standards.
• Provide excellent customer service consistent with daily service basics.
• Set a positive example for guest relations and interact with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in a relevant sales role.
• Ability to proactively solicit and handle sales opportunities.
• Strong relationship-building skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Understanding of market trends and target customer information.
• Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
