Security Integrations Senior Engineer

About the Role

Riyad Bank is seeking a Security Integrations Senior Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves participating in the implementation and configuration of new technologies, reviewing existing BT Security integration systems, and ensuring the proper implementation of robust and scalable systems that meet Riyad Bank’s business requirements as per BT Policies and Procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Follow all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
• Participate in the research, design, building, and implementation of enterprise-wide network security solutions and enhancements.
• Analyze, test, and implement state-of-the-art secure system security.
• Conduct reviews of security integrations setup and provide recommendations on integrating security strategy and network instrumentation.
• Oversee security infrastructure sustainment, maintenance, and advanced configuration of all BT Security systems.
• Convert business requirements into technical specifications with formalized use cases.
• Create solutions that balance BT requirements with information and cyber security requirements.
• Participate in Proof of Concepts, acquiring new products, and evaluating new technologies.
• Align standards, frameworks, and security with overall BT deployment.
• Maintain and update the BT security integration landscape.
• Provide assistance in troubleshooting Integration Security operational issues in a timely manner.
• Ensure customer satisfaction by addressing needs courteously and promptly.
• Ensure effective team leadership and knowledge transfer for staff within the function.
• Contribute to identifying opportunities for continuous improvement of processes and practices.
• Assist in preparing timely and accurate reports to meet company and department requirements.
• Comply with all relevant safety, quality, and environmental management policies.

Qualifications and Experience

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications in cyber security operations or equivalent.
• Experience: 4-6 years of relevant experience.

Required Technical Knowledge

• Good knowledge of Banking systems and applications, including banking operations and requirements.
• Advanced knowledge and understanding of information security and relevant tools and systems.
• Very good knowledge of programming languages and systems used by the Bank.
• Excellent knowledge of the SDLC process and components.
• Understanding of network security architecture concepts such as topology and protocols.
• Understanding of network risk, cyberattacks, and the relationship between threats and vulnerabilities.
• Advanced knowledge of Common Vulnerabilities and Exposures (CVEs), cyber threats, and vulnerability mitigation strategies.
• Experience in security configuration review of databases, servers, firewalls, switches, and routers.
• Experience in network, web application/web services penetration testing, and secure code review of applications.
• Advanced knowledge of operating systems (Windows, Linux), network equipment systems, and network hardening.
• Advanced knowledge of Advanced Persistent Threat (APT) actors and associated tools, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).
• Advanced knowledge of cyber threat intelligence analytic frameworks including Cyber Kill Chain and Mitre ATT&CK.
