About the Role

eSense is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical capabilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Role Overview

The Senior Accountant will be responsible for managing the full accounting cycle, ensuring compliance with financial regulations, and contributing to the financial health of the company. This role involves critical financial operations, accurate reporting, and providing essential support for management decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete accounting cycle, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and financial closing processes.
• Handle Zakat, Value Added Tax (VAT), and Withholding Tax in accordance with ZATCA regulations.
• Prepare, review, and submit tax and Zakat returns accurately and on time.
• Ensure proper accounting treatment and obtain necessary approvals for all financial transactions.
• Coordinate effectively with external and internal auditors, providing required documents and explanations.
• Prepare periodic financial statements and management reports.
• Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and local statutory requirements.
• Work efficiently with ERP and other accounting systems.
• Support management with financial analysis and contribute to decision-making processes.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Demonstrated strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Skills and Attributes

• CMA certification is preferred.
• Prior experience in IT or technology companies is highly preferred.
