The Role: Senior Accountant

Naseej is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is critical for ensuring financial accuracy, maintaining compliance with international standards, and supporting business decisions through reliable financial reporting and analysis.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards.
• Manage day-to-day accounting activities using ERP systems, preferably Microsoft Dynamics.
• Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Oversee consolidated financial reporting across departments or entities.
• Support project-based accounting, including cost tracking and budget monitoring.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Perform financial analysis and build models to support business strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, operations, and project managers.
• Ensure compliance with Zakat, VAT, and withholding tax (WHT) regulations, including timely filing and reporting to ZATCA.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for this position should demonstrate a strong foundation in accounting principles and financial compliance. The role requires:

• 4-6 years of experience in an accounting role.
• Proven ability to prepare and analyze financial statements according to IFRS.
• Experience managing daily accounting activities with ERP systems, with a preference for Microsoft Dynamics.
• Familiarity with Zakat, VAT, and WHT regulations and ZATCA reporting.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The Senior Accountant will operate within a dynamic technology company environment, collaborating with various internal teams.
