About the Role

Emdad By Elm is seeking a Senior Application Engineer to join their team in Riyadh, Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on managing and operating critical application environments, ensuring their stability, performance, and security. The position requires 5-10 years of experience in a relevant field.

Role Summary

The Senior Application Engineer will be responsible for the operational management of OpenShift and GKE environments. This includes supporting application deployments, troubleshooting platform-related issues, and maintaining the overall availability and performance of application environments. The role also involves participation in cloud transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and operate OpenShift and GKE environments.
• Implement security updates and patches for application platforms.
• Troubleshoot issues related to Ingress, Routes, and DNS.
• Implement and maintain GitOps practices to streamline operations.
• Manage ArgoCD and associated deployment processes.
• Develop and maintain Helm Charts for application deployments.
• Create and configure Namespaces and various application environments.
• Provide support to development teams at different levels.
• Troubleshoot deployment and performance issues within application environments.
• Participate in cloud transformation projects.

Experience Required

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of professional experience relevant to application engineering and platform management.
