Mohammad Al Habib Real Estate is seeking a Senior Architectural Engineer to join its project team. This full-time role is based in Riyadh and Makkah, Saudi Arabia, focusing on a landmark high-rise development. The successful candidate will be responsible for the direct execution, coordination, and delivery of architectural and finishing works on-site.

Role Summary

As a Senior Architectural Engineer, you will function as the Main Contractor's or Developer's site engineer, taking full responsibility for the direct execution, resourcing, and delivery of architectural and finishing works. This position is not limited to a supervisory or consultancy capacity. It requires extensive experience in high-rise tower projects, strong technical knowledge of architectural finishes and façade systems, and the ability to manage subcontractors, direct labor, and multidisciplinary coordination throughout the construction lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and execute architectural and finishing works, including façade, interiors, and MEP builder's work, in accordance with approved drawings and project design standards.
• Collaborate closely with Civil Engineers on architectural scope items to ensure coordinated execution across disciplines.
• Review and implement shop drawings, mock-ups, and material samples for finishes.
• Conduct and document formal site work inspections at each stage of finishing works (substrate preparation, first fix, second fix, final finishes) before sign-off and progression.
• Coordinate architectural works sequencing with civil and MEP site activities.
• Manage direct labor crews and/or subcontractors performing finishing works, verifying progress and quality of workmanship.
• Prepare and verify quantity take-offs and measurements of executed architectural/finishing works for interim payment certificates and variation/change order evaluations.
• Coordinate directly with the Technical Team and design consultants on RFIs and site queries affecting architectural works.
• Supervise and mentor Junior Architectural Engineers assigned to respective work fronts.
• Maintain snag lists and coordinate the close-out and handover of finished areas.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years of experience in architectural engineering and construction.
• Proven experience in high-rise tower projects is essential.
• Strong background in façade systems, interior finishes, fit-out, waterproofing, and architectural coordination.
• Previous experience with leading developers or Tier-1 contractors is highly desirable.
• Experience may have been gained anywhere within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

Project Environment

This role involves working on-site for a landmark high-rise development across Riyadh and Makkah. The successful candidate will ensure all architectural and finishing activities are completed in strict accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, established quality standards, and construction schedules.
