Mace is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager Reporting to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. Mace combines construction expertise with consultancy to enhance project delivery and achieve client ambitions. This full-time role is integral to a significant development program, reflecting Mace's commitment to professional excellence and innovation.

Project Context

The successful candidate will be involved in a major mixed-use development located in Riyadh. This extensive program encompasses over 200 individual projects, including cultural and heritage assets, a range of F&B and retail establishments, hotels, commercial buildings, and educational facilities. The role focuses on ensuring consistent and accurate commercial reporting across this diverse portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the PMO commercial reporting framework and calendar, ensuring consistent programme-level cost and commercial reporting.
• Develop and maintain data models and interactive dashboards using Power BI (Power Query, Power Pivot, DAX) to track budget, commitments, forecast, change, and cashflow.
• Consolidate and validate cost and commercial data from multiple projects, PMCs, and systems into a unified source.
• Prepare comprehensive monthly and quarterly reports, including variance analysis, trend identification, KPIs, and forward-looking cashflow forecasts.
• Collaborate with commercial, finance, planning, and risk teams to ensure alignment across cost, schedule, and risk parameters.
• Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, automation, and data quality to reduce manual effort and potential errors.
• Present insights and recommendations to PMO and client leadership in a clear, business-focused manner.
• Ensure adherence to internal governance, client standards, and relevant professional guidelines (*, RICS, AACE).

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Possession of necessary visa criteria for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
• Relevant work experience on high-value projects or programmes within a project management environment.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Commercial / Construction Management, Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification preferred (*, MRICS, AACE, PMP or equivalent).
• 5–10+ years of experience in cost or commercial management.
• Experience with major real estate, mixed-use, or infrastructure programmes, ideally within the Middle East region.

Essential Skills

• Strong understanding of cost management, budgeting, forecasting, change management, and commercial governance principles.
• Proficiency in Power BI, including data modelling, DAX, and report design.
• Competence in Power Query and Power Pivot for data transformation and modelling.
• Advanced Excel skills, encompassing complex formulas, pivot tables, and automation.
