Senior Director Development (Security)

About Qiddiya Investment Company and the Role

Qiddiya Investment Company is seeking a Senior Director - Development (Security) to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time position is central to leading cross-functional teams in the successful planning and execution of security projects from their initial concept through to completion.

Role Purpose and Impact

The Senior Director will play a pivotal role in ensuring that security development projects align with Qiddiya's strategic vision. This position requires a robust understanding of the real estate development process, with a focus on delivering innovative security solutions. The role demands demonstrated end-to-end experience in the development of security assets within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the GCC Region.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage security development projects, ensuring alignment with the overall vision and strategy of Qiddiya Investment Company.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, including operators, contractors, consultants, and government authorities, to facilitate successful project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, zoning requirements, and environmental standards throughout the development process.
• Monitor project progress and budget, implementing effective risk management strategies and cost management.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, investors, and partners.
• Mentor and lead a high-performing development team, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
• Prepare and present project plans, reports, and updates to senior management and the board of directors.
• Stay abreast of industry trends, technologies, and best practices to drive innovation in development.
• Coordinate and manage the projects team through the delivery process, ensuring projects are constructed in accordance with the approved design.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Real Estate, Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Program and/or Portfolio Management Qualification highly regarded.
• 15+ years of relevant professional working experience.
