People Group Arabia is seeking a Senior Environment Health and Safety Manager to join a major program in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is with a leading global engineering and infrastructure consultancy. The position requires an experienced HSE professional to provide strategic and operational leadership, ensuring high standards of safety, environmental compliance, and risk management across complex, high-value projects.

Role Overview

As the Senior HSE Manager, you will be responsible for leading HSE activities and driving a proactive safety culture. This involves close collaboration with project leadership, contractors, consultants, and client representatives to deliver continuous improvement throughout the program. The role operates at both strategic and operational levels within large-scale, complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage HSE teams across a major project or program.
• Develop, implement, and monitor HSE strategies, plans, procedures, and standards.
• Provide senior leadership on HSE risk management and assurance.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Saudi legislation, international standards, and project requirements.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor HSE performance and drive improvement initiatives.
• Lead HSE audits, inspections, investigations, and assurance activities.
• Establish and maintain a strong proactive safety culture across the project.
• Provide senior-level reporting, advice, and guidance to project and client leadership.
• Identify emerging risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.
• Mentor and develop HSE professionals within the wider project team.
