Senior FLS Project Manager

About the Role

Egis is seeking a Senior FLS Project Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves the comprehensive management and delivery of Fire & Life Safety (FLS) projects, with a focus on technical quality, commercial performance, project timelines, resource allocation, and client relations. The successful candidate will ensure projects are completed successfully and meet all applicable standards.

Role Overview

The Senior FLS Project Manager will lead multidisciplinary FLS teams, managing project risks and resources, controlling scope and budget, and coordinating with clients and stakeholders. The role requires a strong technical background in Fire & Life Safety disciplines, combined with proven project and commercial management capabilities. The Project Manager will ensure all deliverables comply with relevant codes, standards, authority requirements, and contractual obligations.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide overall technical leadership for Fire & Life Safety projects.
• Manage and coordinate technical inputs across various FLS disciplines, including strategies, fire protection systems, fire alarm systems, passive fire protection, smoke control, means of egress, compartmentation, special suppression systems, fire service access, and performance-based fire engineering solutions.
• Ensure FLS designs and deliverables comply with local codes, Civil Defence requirements, adopted international standards, and project specifications.
• Review critical technical deliverables and ensure quality control processes are completed prior to submission.
• Provide technical direction to project engineers, specialists, and design-review teams.
• Lead the resolution of complex technical issues and multidisciplinary interface matters.
• Document technical decisions, assumptions, deviations, and agreed design solutions.
• Coordinate technical submissions and responses with Civil Defence and other relevant authorities.
• Lead technical workshops and meetings with clients, designers, contractors, and approving authorities as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• A senior Fire & Life Safety professional with strong technical, commercial, and project management capabilities.
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in Fire & Life Safety projects.
• Demonstrated ability to take full ownership of complex FLS projects.
• Proven experience in managing projects as both a business and a technical assignment, balancing technical quality, client requirements, program, resources, commercial performance, risk, and authority approvals.
