About the Role

Alujain Corp. is seeking a Senior Interior Architect to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with extensive experience in leading interior design projects from initial concept through to final execution. The role focuses on delivering functional and aesthetically pleasing design solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee architectural interior design projects, managing the entire process from conceptualization to execution.
• Collaborate with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to develop functional and aesthetically pleasing design solutions.
• Develop comprehensive architectural plans and detailed technical drawings using professional design software.
• Select and specify finishes, furniture, fixtures, and equipment (FF&E) that balance style, function, and budget.
• Provide technical expertise, mentorship, and design direction to junior designers and project teams.
• Ensure all designs comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and other relevant legal requirements.
• Design custom furniture pieces tailored to enhance specific project environments.
• Conduct initial client consultations to assess needs, preferences, and budget constraints.
• Present design concepts and proposals, incorporating client feedback throughout the design process.
• Develop and manage project timelines and schedules to meet key milestones and delivery deadlines.
• Oversee the procurement process, including negotiating with vendors to optimize quality and cost.
• Maintain an up-to-date professional portfolio showcasing past projects and design achievements.
• Conduct research and stay current on design trends, materials, and industry best practices.
• Perform regular quality control checks to ensure all deliverables meet the highest standards.
• Coordinate architectural, MEP, and ID drawings and documentation, including shop drawings and as-built submissions.
• Prepare design proposals and furniture packages, including Bills of Quantities (BOQs), sketches, and cost estimates.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, or a related field.
• Proven experience of 7+ years in interior architecture and design, preferably in a senior or leadership role.

Required Skills and Technical Proficiency

• Strong proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite.
• Deep understanding of building systems, codes, and construction processes.
• Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills.
• Creative thinking with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Senior Interior Architect will work collaboratively within project teams and engage directly with clients and stakeholders to achieve project objectives.
