About the Role

Pace | Architecture, Engineering + Planning is seeking a Senior Interior Designer with expertise in site supervision to join our project team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on a prestigious high-rise hospitality development, where the successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring the highest standards of design quality, technical compliance, and site execution. The position requires extensive experience in 5-star hotels and luxury hospitality projects, with a strong background in architectural finishes, fit-out, and FF&E.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Interior Design and Architectural site supervision activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve all Interior Design and Architectural engineering submissions, including Shop Drawings, Material Data Sheets, Material Samples, Mood Boards, Method Statements, Mock-ups, FF&E Submittals, and related technical documentation.
• Supervise and monitor daily site activities to ensure compliance with approved design, project specifications, quality standards, and contract requirements.
• Lead the site supervision team and coordinate inspection activities with all stakeholders.
• Prepare weekly progress reports, executive presentations, and technical summaries for senior management, the client, and the Engineer.
• Attend and lead technical coordination meetings with the Client, Consultant, Contractors, and Sub-consultants to resolve design and construction issues.
• Develop practical technical solutions for design conflicts, site constraints, and incomplete or conflicting design information.
• Review contractors' work progress, identify risks, and ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
• Coordinate closely with Architectural, Structural, MEP, FF&E, and specialist disciplines to achieve seamless project delivery.
• Ensure all works comply with quality standards, project specifications, local regulations, and international hospitality standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of proven experience as a Senior Interior Designer in site supervision.
• Mandatory experience in 5-star hotels, luxury resorts, or luxury hospitality developments.
• Strong expertise in Architectural finishes, Interior Fit-out, and FF&E packages.
• Previous experience working with Engineering Consultants or Construction Supervision teams is mandatory.
• Contracting experience will be considered a significant advantage.
• High-rise building experience is highly preferred.

Technical Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong ability to prepare professional technical presentations and executive reports.
