About Qiddiya and the Role

Qiddiya (القدية) is seeking a Senior Manager - Design Governance to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time position is a senior role within the Design Excellence (DEx) department, which sits within the CDU. The Design Governance vertical is responsible for establishing and maintaining design governance frameworks to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance across all Qiddiya projects.

Role Purpose and Context

The Senior Manager - Design Governance acts as a custodian of design principles, ensuring that all designs align with Qiddiya's objectives and unique identity. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams and counterparts across various Business Units to monitor and ensure adherence to established governance processes. The manager will also contribute to the continuous improvement of the department and design practices by providing feedback on adoption issues to other DEx verticals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Qiddiya-wide processes for reviewing and monitoring project adherence to Board-approved CGIs and imagery, including concept and interior designs.
• Create, update, and maintain a centralized repository of dated Board-approved CGIs for reference and compliance tracking.
• Conduct systematic audits and coordinate with Design Excellence (DEx) teams across business units to ensure compliance with approved designs and identify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with design, project management, and other governance teams to embed design standards and resolve compliance issues.
• Prepare reports on compliance status, audit findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement in design governance.

Governance Framework and Reporting

• Define clear workflows for design governance reviews, approvals, and escalation procedures.
• Coordinate with Design Excellence (DEx) teams across business units to identify discrepancies and enforce corrective actions.
• Develop compliance dashboards and reporting mechanisms to provide visibility for leadership.
• Utilize advanced digital tools, such as Excel and Power BI, to analyze datasets and create visual dashboards that support informed, data-driven decision-making.

Team Leadership and Development

The Senior Manager will mentor and guide junior team members in tasks such as project coordination, document preparation, and analytical work. This aspect of the role contributes to the professional development and growth of the team within the Design Governance vertical.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, operating within the Design Excellence department of Qiddiya. The role requires close collaboration with various internal teams and business units to achieve design consistency and compliance across all projects.
