About Qiddiya and the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Manager Design Governance CDU to join its Design Excellence (DEx) department within the CDU. Based in Riyadh, this full-time role is central to implementing and maintaining robust design governance frameworks across all Qiddiya projects. The Senior Manager will ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with established design principles and objectives.

Purpose of the Design Governance Function

The Design Governance vertical within DEx serves as the custodian of design principles, ensuring that all project designs align with Qiddiya's strategic objectives and unique identity. This role involves significant collaboration with cross-functional teams and business units to monitor and enforce adherence to established governance processes. The Senior Manager will also contribute to the continuous improvement of departmental practices by providing feedback on adoption issues to other DEx verticals.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement Qiddiya-wide processes for reviewing and monitoring project adherence to Board-approved CGIs and imagery, including concept and interior designs.
• Create, update, and maintain a centralized repository of dated Board-approved CGIs for reference and compliance tracking.
• Conduct systematic audits and coordinate with Design Excellence (DEx) teams across business units to ensure compliance with approved designs and identify discrepancies.
• Collaborate with design, project management, and other governance teams to embed design standards and resolve compliance issues.
• Prepare reports on compliance status, audit findings, and recommendations for continuous improvement in design governance.
• Define clear workflows for design governance reviews, approvals, and escalation procedures.
• Coordinate with Design Excellence (DEx) teams across business units to identify discrepancies and enforce corrective actions.
• Develop compliance dashboards and reporting mechanisms for leadership visibility.
• Mentor and guide junior team members in project coordination, document preparation, and analytical tasks, contributing to their professional development.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant professional experience in design governance, project management, or a related field within a complex organizational structure.

Required Skills and Capabilities

• Proficiency in utilizing advanced digital tools such as Excel and Power BI for data analysis and the creation of visual dashboards.
• Strong analytical skills to support informed, data-driven decision-making.
• Demonstrated ability in project coordination and document preparation.
• Proven experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.
