About the Role

Mace is seeking a Senior Manager Project Management (Hospitality) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading integrated project teams on a significant mixed-use development, leveraging Mace's expertise in construction and consultancy to deliver complex projects.

Project Overview

This position offers the opportunity to contribute to one of Saudi Arabia's largest programmes. The project encompasses a major mixed-use development, integrating sports facilities, entertainment venues, and arts components, alongside all necessary associated infrastructure. Mace operates as a key delivery partner, requiring experienced professionals to manage project phases effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage project delivery from inception through design, procurement, construction, and handover, ensuring alignment with programme milestones, scope, budget, and client objectives.
• Coordinate and manage project teams, consultants, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate effective collaboration and successful project outcomes.
• Determine, procure, and oversee project management, technical services, design consultants, and external resources, including fee management, claims, variations, and deliverables.
• Develop and maintain integrated design, authorities, procurement, and delivery programmes to ensure timely project execution and performance.
• Prepare, update, and implement project plans, monitoring progress, budgets, risks, challenges, and mitigation measures throughout the project lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, quality, and governance requirements by promoting safety leadership, robust quality systems, and Service Excellence standards.
• Lead stakeholder meetings, manage project communications, coordinate change control processes, and ensure accurate documentation and approved handover records.
• Drive business priorities including Construction to Production, Digital & Data, and Responsible Business, while promoting best practices and continuous improvement across projects.

Qualifications and Experience

• Substantial previous experience in a project management role on medium-sized or complex projects, or leading smaller projects.
• Demonstrated experience in the construction delivery phase of projects. Proven experience in hospitality assets is essential.
• Professional accreditation such as MCIOB, MAPM, MRICS, MICE, or a local equivalent.
• Tertiary qualifications in a related discipline (project management and/or construction) or an equivalent professional experience/apprenticeship combined with demonstrable intermediate level of role knowledge.
• Appropriate Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) card or a local equivalent.
