Introduction to the Role
Saudi Entertainment Ventures | SEVEN is seeking a Senior Manager Supply Chain & Workforce Competency Entertainment Operations to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 5 to 10 years of experience and is central to establishing and governing critical operational frameworks across SEVEN's entertainment portfolio, ensuring efficiency and high standards in maintenance operations.
Role Purpose and Scope
The Senior Manager will be responsible for defining and overseeing corporate-level frameworks applicable across the entire portfolio of entertainment operations. This encompasses three primary areas: Technical Supply Chain Governance, Technical Training & Competency Management, and Technical Document Control, all vital for robust maintenance and operational excellence.
Core Responsibilities
- Establish, maintain, and periodically review corporate frameworks, policies, and minimum controls for assigned disciplines.
- Define clear governance boundaries, monitor implementation, and report systemic issues affecting operations.
- Develop and maintain the technical supply chain framework for attraction maintenance, covering critical spares, consumables, special tools, test equipment, inventory criticality, obsolescence, and lifecycle support.
- Define minimum requirements for assets listed under the Master Asset List system, including spare parts and consumables classification, specifications, master data, traceability, storage, preservation, stock-control principles, and EAM/ERP/CMMS linkage.
- Establish standard templates and controls for technical requisitions, OEM/vendor information, long-lead visibility, warranty support, and supplier-performance reporting.
- Support portfolio vendor strategies by collaborating with corporate stakeholders such as Finance, Payroll, Procurement, Logistics, and IT.
- Manage Central Warehouse receiving operations, including physical and documentary verification, quantity and condition checks, discrepancy recording and escalation, system receipt and Goods Receipt Note (GRN) processing, and appropriate storage, preservation, traceability, and stock visibility.
- Review complex implementation and portfolio data through periodic functional governance assessments, report systemic risks affecting availability, maintainability, or cost, and initiate corrective actions.
Workforce Competency Management
- Establish and maintain the corporate framework for role-, asset-, and task-based competency requirements, training pathways, assessment evidence, authorization levels, and renewal criteria.
- Own the corporate competency framework, tracker methodology, and consolidated portfolio competency view, maintaining a clear distinction between training attendance and assessed competence.
- Define minimum templates and records for training, assessment, refresher activities, mentoring, and OEM knowledge transfer in coordination with Learning & Development and approved providers.
- Monitor framework implementation and competency-data quality, using governance reviews, performance trends, incidents, and audit findings to identify gaps, expiries, and capability risks.
- Define and initiate actions such as new or revised training materials, toolbox talks, refresher or remedial training, or competency reassessment, and track implementation and effectiveness through responsible Complex Technical Managers.
Technical Document Control
- Develop and maintain the corporate technical document-control framework, covering ownership, review, approval, revision, access, distribution, retention, supersession, and handover.
- Define standard technical-file requirements, registers, naming conventions, attributes, metadata, taxonomies, and EDMS or shared-drive structures for attraction technical information and records.
- Define, in coordination with Asset Management and EAM/CMMS/IT system owners, asset-information requirements, including classification, master data, tagging, and links between assets, maintenance plans, documents, spare parts, tools, and competency requirements within EAM/CMMS/ERP systems.
- Review complex-level implementation, completeness, currentness, and accessibility through periodic functional governance assessments, reporting gaps and following up on closure.
Qualifications and Experience
The ideal candidate will have 5 to 10 years of experience in supply chain management, workforce competency development, or technical document control, preferably within an operations or maintenance context. A strong understanding of governance frameworks and enterprise asset management systems (EAM/ERP/CMMS) is essential for success in this role.
