About the Role: Senior Manager Virtual City CDU

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Manager Virtual City CDU to join its Central Development Unit (CDU) in Riyadh. This full-time role is dedicated to the technical oversight and quality control of digital assets within Qiddiya City's Unreal Engine environment. The position requires deep technical expertise and meticulous attention to detail to ensure compliance with established standards.

Role Context and Purpose

The Senior Manager operates within the Design Excellence vertical of the CDU, which functions as a center of excellence. The CDU sets standards and drives consistency across complex development projects by providing tools and processes for best practice delivery. Design Excellence ensures that projects embody "Qiddiya-ness" by establishing standardized measures of design quality across the program. The Virtual City team is responsible for the Qiddiya City Unreal Engine, facilitating real-time visualization, simulation, and collaboration by integrating GIS, BIM, and IMS data to guide development decision-making.

Core Responsibilities

  • Maintain technical excellence and streamline workflows for digital asset management across the Qiddiya program.
  • Oversee and maintain the quality and structure of digital models and assets in Unreal Engine.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce technical standards for digital modeling, ensuring compliance across all digital assets.
  • Monitor and evaluate the quality of model updates from external consultants and designers.
  • Establish and maintain robust file structures, workflows, and documentation to support technical compliance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to digital asset integration and modeling.
  • Continuously assess and improve technical workflows to enhance the integrity of digital models.
  • Implement and execute best practices for asset compliance and digital data management.

Required Experience and Qualifications

  • 5-10 years of relevant professional experience.
  • Demonstrated deep technical expertise in digital asset management and Unreal Engine.
  • Proven ability to ensure compliance with technical standards and maintain data integrity.
