About the Role

Yamama Cement is seeking a Senior Mechanic to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves performing essential mechanical maintenance to ensure the efficient operation of production units within the facility.

Role Purpose

The Senior Mechanic is responsible for executing routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance tasks. This role is critical in maintaining the operational efficiency and reliability of all production equipment, adhering strictly to established safety and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units to ensure operation within designated limits and report any observations affecting equipment efficiency.
• Identify necessary tools and equipment for maintenance, assess their readiness, and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure correct disposal of maintenance waste.
• Execute mechanical repair work, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts to ensure their readiness and efficiency.
• Comply with all safety procedures before commencing work, including verifying required permits and lockout/tagout forms.
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
