The Role of Senior Mechanic

The Senior Mechanic plays a critical role in ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of our production units. This position involves performing a wide range of mechanical maintenance tasks, from routine checks to emergency repairs, all while adhering to established safety protocols and company procedures. The successful candidate will be instrumental in upholding equipment efficiency and operational integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance work in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units to ensure operation within designated limits, reporting any observations that may affect equipment efficiency.
• Identify and assess the readiness of tools and equipment required for maintenance, and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure their continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in their designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure proper disposal of maintenance waste.
• Execute mechanical repair work, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts, to ensure their readiness and efficiency.
• Comply with all safety procedures before commencing work, including verifying necessary permits and lockout/tagout forms.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
