The Role of Senior Mechanic

The Senior Mechanic plays a critical role in maintaining the mechanical integrity of production units. This full-time position involves executing a range of maintenance activities, from routine checks to emergency repairs, while upholding stringent safety standards and ensuring the optimal performance of equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance work in accordance with approved company policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units to ensure they operate within designated operational limits, reporting any observations that may affect equipment efficiency.
• Identify the tools and equipment required for maintenance tasks, assess their readiness, and carry out preventive maintenance to ensure their continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in their designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure the correct disposal of maintenance waste.
• Execute mechanical repair work, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts to ensure their readiness and efficiency.
• Comply with all safety procedures before commencing work, including verifying the necessary permits and lockout/tagout forms.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor to support operational needs.

Required Qualifications

• A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or any related technical field.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The Senior Mechanic will work within a team dedicated to maintaining the operational integrity and safety of Yamama Cement Company's production facilities.
