About the Role

Yamama Cement Company is seeking a Senior Mechanic to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves performing essential mechanical maintenance to ensure the continuous and efficient operation of production units.

Role Overview

The Senior Mechanic is responsible for executing routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance tasks. This position plays a critical role in monitoring equipment performance, identifying maintenance needs, and ensuring compliance with safety protocols to maintain operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance work in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units to ensure operation within designated limits and report any observations affecting equipment efficiency.
• Identify and assess the readiness of required maintenance tools and equipment, performing preventive maintenance to ensure their continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure appropriate disposal of maintenance waste.
• Execute mechanical repair work, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts to ensure their readiness and efficiency.
• Comply with all safety procedures before commencing work, including verifying necessary permits and lockout/tagout forms.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
