Senior Mechanic

About the Role

Yamama Cement Company is seeking a Senior Mechanic to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves performing essential mechanical maintenance to ensure the efficient operation of production units and equipment within the company's facilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units to ensure operation within designated limits and report any observations affecting equipment efficiency.
• Identify necessary tools and equipment for maintenance, assess their readiness, and conduct preventive maintenance to ensure continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure appropriate disposal of maintenance waste.
• Execute mechanical repair tasks, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts to ensure their readiness and efficiency.
• Comply with all safety procedures before commencing work, including verifying required permits and lockout/tagout forms.
• Perform any additional tasks assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is required.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, where the Senior Mechanic will contribute to maintaining the operational integrity of Yamama Cement Company's production units.
