Senior Mechanic

About the Role

Yamama Cement is seeking a Senior Mechanic to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is essential for maintaining the operational efficiency of production units and equipment through comprehensive mechanical maintenance work.

Role Purpose

The Senior Mechanic performs routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance tasks. The primary objective is to ensure that all production units and equipment operate efficiently and reliably, adhering to established policies and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute routine, preventive, and emergency mechanical maintenance in accordance with approved policies and procedures.
• Monitor the performance of production units to ensure operation within designated limits and report any observations affecting equipment efficiency.
• Identify necessary tools and equipment for maintenance, assess their readiness, and perform preventive maintenance to ensure continuous availability.
• Organize and store maintenance tools in their designated locations, maintain them properly, and ensure appropriate disposal of maintenance waste.
• Conduct mechanical repair work, including welding, cutting, and refurbishing replaced parts to ensure their readiness and efficiency.
• Comply with all safety procedures before commencing work, including verifying required permits and lockout/tagout forms.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, focusing on hands-on mechanical maintenance within a production environment.
