About the Senior Network Security Engineer Role

DeepSource is seeking a Senior Network Security Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time position is for an experienced professional with a focus on operational excellence and robust troubleshooting within enterprise network security environments. The ideal candidate will contribute to maintaining secure and highly available network infrastructure, preferably bringing experience from a financial services or banking background.

Role Context and Purpose

This role requires an individual who can operate independently in a business-critical environment, ensuring the continuous security and performance of network systems. The Senior Network Security Engineer will be central to managing and supporting security solutions, with a particular emphasis on environments demanding high availability and stringent security protocols, such as those found in financial institutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot network security infrastructure.
• Manage and support security solutions within a financial environment, ensuring high availability and security standards.
• Perform incident troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and resolution for network security issues.
• Implement security policies, configurations, changes, and upgrades in accordance with approved procedures.
• Coordinate with internal IT, security, infrastructure, and vendor teams as required.
• Support security incidents and ensure timely resolution in line with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
• Maintain comprehensive technical documentation, configurations, and operational procedures.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess 0-1 years of experience in network security. Demonstrated strong operational and troubleshooting experience across enterprise network security technologies is essential. Preference will be given to individuals with prior experience within a financial services or banking environment.
