About Qiddiya and the Role

Qiddiya is seeking a Senior Specialist Environmental Audit AA to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is integral to supporting the delivery of environmental compliance activities within Qiddiya Investment Company (QIC), focusing on adherence to regulatory obligations and internal requirements.

Role Overview and Reporting Structure

The Senior Specialist Environmental Audit AA contributes to the implementation of compliance initiatives, with a primary focus on compliance monitoring, data management, and the day-to-day coordination of compliance-related tasks. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager of Environmental Compliance, this position provides operational and administrative support across environmental compliance monitoring, reporting, and stakeholder coordination activities.

Core Responsibilities

  • Support the implementation of environmental compliance frameworks, procedures, and related programs in line with QIC's regulatory obligations and departmental plans.
  • Assist in monitoring compliance performance data and preparing routine reports to support adherence to applicable regulations, permit conditions, and internal requirements.
  • Participate in compliance assessments, inspections, audits, and reviews by gathering information, maintaining records, and following up on action items.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders, as directed, to support environmental compliance initiatives and reporting requirements.
  • Support the delivery of awareness sessions, presentations, and communications on environmental compliance topics.
  • Assist in the execution of project activities related to compliance and assurance by providing research, documentation, and administrative support.
  • Contribute to the integration of compliance requirements into project activities by supporting coordination across functions.
  • Collect, organize, and analyze compliance data to support reporting, issue tracking, and decision-making.
  • Stay informed on relevant environmental regulations, permit requirements, standards, and industry practices, and share updates with the wider team as needed.

Required Qualifications and Experience

  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
  • This position is open to KSA nationals only.

Essential Skills and Knowledge

Candidates should possess strong capabilities in compliance monitoring, data management, and report preparation. The role requires effective coordination skills for engaging with both internal teams and external stakeholders. A solid understanding of environmental regulations, permit conditions, and industry best practices is essential for success in this position.
