Role Overview: Senior Technical Coordinator

We are seeking a Senior Technical Coordinator to manage design coordination and provide essential technical support across our major construction projects. This full-time role is critical in ensuring that all drawings, submittals, and site activities consistently comply with project requirements and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate architectural, structural, civil, and MEP designs to ensure integration and consistency.
• Review IFC drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and technical submittals for accuracy and compliance.
• Identify design discrepancies and coordinate technical solutions effectively with consultants and site teams.
• Prepare and track Requests for Information (RFIs), material submittals, method statements, and design approvals.
• Coordinate BIM clash detection processes and ensure the timely resolution and closure of technical issues.
• Maintain comprehensive drawing registers and monitor all technical deliverables throughout project lifecycles.
• Support value engineering initiatives and conduct constructability reviews to optimize project outcomes.
• Ensure that all work on site complies with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable building codes.
• Attend technical and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Provide technical clarifications and support for site teams, including assistance with as-built documentation.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a strong background in construction project coordination and technical support. A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in the construction industry is required, demonstrating a proven ability to manage complex technical documentation and coordination processes.
