About SEVEN and the Role

Saudi Entertainment Ventures | SEVEN is seeking a Senior Technician Maintenance to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to ensuring the operational readiness and safety of attraction rides and devices across SEVEN's complexes. The Senior Technician performs advanced-level planned maintenance, repair activities, and troubleshooting, while also leading work execution with other attraction technicians. This position provides active support during the installation phase on-site, collaborating with contractors and manufacturers to meet SEVEN's maintenance requirements and technical pre- and post-opening standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and lead technical activities for rides and attractions, supported by the technician team and technical management.
• Perform and record corrective maintenance activities on rides and attractions in accordance with industry standards and manufacturer requirements.
• Execute and record planned preventive maintenance activities according to approved schedules.
• Respond to ride and attraction breakdowns, diagnose faults, and restore operations safely and efficiently.
• Lead and execute major annual maintenance and rehabilitation activities to ensure optimal ride performance.
• Monitor spare parts and consumable stock requirements, providing proactive feedback to support availability.
• Assist in ensuring adequate resources, materials, tools, equipment, and manpower are available to perform maintenance activities.
• Identify opportunities to improve ride performance, maintenance efficiency, and operational effectiveness.

Technical Operations and Documentation

• Comply with SEVEN's technical maintenance requirements by implementing, executing, and documenting maintenance activities in line with H&S policies and operational procedures.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of technical documentation, including SOPs, technical manuals, troubleshooting guides, evacuation procedures, PM checklists, REHAB programs, and NDT schedules.
• Support the implementation and effective use of asset management systems and related documentation.
• Participate in ride evacuation procedures and provide recommendations for improvement.

Safety, Quality, and Training

• Work in accordance with international safety best practices and KSA regulatory requirements.
• Verify the quality and accuracy of technicians' work, particularly on safety-critical inspections and repairs.
• Conduct inspections of tools and equipment, ensuring compliance with calibration and safety requirements.
• Deliver training and maintain training records in line with Learning & Development requirements.
• Support annual certification and recertification processes conducted by Independent Bodies (IB).
• Adhere to all QHSE policies, procedures, and company standards.
• Ensure efficient use of consumables and maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in the leisure, attractions, or theme park industry.
• Hands-on experience in major ride and attraction maintenance activities, including annual rehabilitation (REHAB).

Collaboration and Company Values

The Senior Technician will actively participate with Operations, Project Attraction Teams, and Project Management Consultants, maintaining close communication with ride manufacturers' representatives engaged at SEVEN project sites. This role involves contributing to departmental objectives, action plans, and KPIs aligned with company strategic goals, and acting as Team Leader when required.
