About the Service Sales Engineer Role
Carrier, a global leader in HVAC, refrigeration, and cold chain solutions, is seeking a Saudi National Service Sales Engineer for its operations in Riyadh. This permanent position involves developing and expanding sales channels for service agreements and repair services, contributing to the company's mission of creating healthier environments.
Role Purpose and Responsibilities
The primary purpose of this role is to drive sales growth within service agreements and repair businesses. The Service Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing and expanding sales channels, achieving sales targets through effective business development, and building strong customer relationships. Key duties include preparing and following up on quotations and proposals for service repairs and maintenance contracts, leading negotiations to achieve optimal profit levels, and ensuring timely order booking that meets sales metrics and annual targets.
- Managing existing customer accounts and developing new business opportunities.
- Understanding customer business needs to identify service revenue growth opportunities.
- Providing professional proposals, offerings, and technical support, particularly related to digitalized services.
- Ensuring proper acquisition of sales opportunities and meeting financial targets, including payment collection.
- Preparing and presenting monthly sales forecasts to management based on service requirements.
- Executing customer visit schedules and interacting with customers to increase sales, market share, and product awareness.
Qualifications and Experience
Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Mechanical Engineering, or an MBA. A minimum of 3 years of experience in HVAC sales is required, with specific experience in selling service contracts and service sales within the Riyadh region being essential. Proficiency in both English and Arabic is necessary, along with strong sales and negotiation skills. A valid driving license is also a requirement for this position.
Key Skills and Attributes
Successful candidates will demonstrate strong organizational, planning, and time management skills. A deep understanding of Carrier's products and solutions is necessary to effectively package and present suitable options to clients. The ability to foster good customer relationships and identify business opportunities is crucial for driving service revenue growth.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is exclusively open to Saudi Nationals.
