About the Site Engineer Role
UCC Holding is seeking a Site Engineer for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role is integral to achieving project objectives through effective planning, scheduling, resource management, cost control, technical guidance, and adherence to quality standards and procedures. The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of relevant experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in comprehensive project planning, including site layout, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and efficient project completion.
- Supervise on-site activities, monitoring progress, ensuring quality control, and verifying adherence to safety regulations and building codes.
- Coordinate effectively with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate a smooth workflow and resolve any arising issues or conflicts.
- Manage the procurement, delivery, and storage of materials and equipment, ensuring adequate supply and timely delivery to meet project demands.
- Implement robust quality control measures to ensure all work aligns with project specifications, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to site personnel and subcontractors, addressing technical challenges and queries related to operational activities.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all operational activities, including progress reports, site records, and as-built drawings, for project tracking and contractual compliance.
- Enforce safety protocols and regulations on-site through regular inspections and the implementation of corrective actions to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Monitor project costs and expenditures, identify cost-saving opportunities, and implement cost-effective solutions to maintain budget adherence.
- Communicate regularly with clients and project stakeholders, providing progress updates, addressing concerns, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Support the implementation of HSE initiatives, participate in safety awareness activities, and contribute to incident reporting and resolution in alignment with company and IMS policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related engineering field.
- Mandatory registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers.
- A minimum of 2 years and a maximum of 5 years of experience in a site engineering capacity.
Work Location and Type
This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role requires active participation and supervision on project sites.
