Site Manager Electrical (OHTL)

About the Role

Larsen & Toubro is seeking a Site Manager Electrical (OHTL) to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires a professional with extensive experience in electrical construction execution, particularly within 380kV Transmission Line (TL) projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all electrical construction activities, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and in compliance with established standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical construction activities for 380kV TL projects.
• Plan and monitor site execution, including manpower, materials, equipment, and daily progress.
• Coordinate with SEC, consultants, subcontractors, and project teams to ensure smooth execution.
• Ensure all works comply with SEC standards, approved drawings, specifications, and project procedures.
• Supervise construction, installation, and all other TL-related activities.
• Monitor project schedules, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to achieve project milestones.
• Review drawings, method statements, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and other technical documents prior to execution.
• Manage subcontractors to ensure productivity, quality, safety, and timely completion of their scope.
• Coordinate with Civil, Protection & Control, Planning, QA/QC, HSE, and Procurement teams.
• Conduct site inspections and ensure proper closure of technical and construction issues.
• Prepare progress reports and provide regular updates to the Project Manager and management.
• Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements and promote zero-incident project execution.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in Transmission Line (TL) projects, including 380kV TL.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Site Manager or Construction Manager role.
• Hands-on experience with SEC projects and SEC construction standards.
• Strong knowledge of TL execution techniques.
• Excellent leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Valid SEC approval (Client Approval) is required.

SEC-Specific Requirements

• Experience working on SEC-approved 380kV TL Projects is preferred.
• Familiarity with SEC General Specifications (SGS), SEC Safety Regulations, and SEC project execution procedures.
• Ability to coordinate directly with SEC Project Management and Construction Supervision teams.

Work Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and operates on a full-time basis. The Site Manager will be responsible for on-site coordination and management of electrical construction activities for Overhead Transmission Line (OHTL) projects.
