About the Role

Afaq Q Tech General Trading is seeking a Site Merchandiser for Amazon Now to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves contributing to an innovative and high-impact business focused on grocery services. The position requires a self-starter who can quickly adapt to a fast-paced environment, build relationships with cross-functional teams, and take ownership within the program.

Role Context and Objectives

The Site Merchandiser will be responsible for building new business from the ground up within the MENA Grocery team (Amazon Now). This involves understanding complex business, technology, and operations processes at Amazon and with partners, and devising optimal engagement models. The successful candidate will thrive in an entrepreneurial setting, managing ambiguity and competing priorities effectively. High judgment, analytical talent, and concise communication skills are essential for success.

Key Responsibilities

• Own store merchandising and content curation.
• Run and analyze proof of performance reports.
• Learn and utilize merchandising tools and widgets.
• Assist in executing the site merchandising calendar, including email programs, new product launches, cross-category placements, and Amazon site-wide events.
• Contribute to browse tree design and search results optimization.
• Assist in developing merchandising strategies for large store-wide promotions, coordinating with category managers and the merchandising team to schedule promotions.
• Plan, execute, and analyze the performance of customer promotions.
• Ensure customer experience and expectations are met to a high standard.
• Execute and schedule content for emails, push notifications, home pages, category pages, and other site pages based on instructions.
• Prepare performance and traffic data reports for management teams.
• Assist in the creation of new engagement-related content based on inputs from the Site Merchandiser.
• Coordinate with category managers, designers, and other editors across the business.
