Spa Therapist (Female)

About the Role

Marriott Hotels & Resorts is seeking a Spa Therapist (Female) to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves providing a range of spa services to guests, ensuring their comfort and safety throughout treatments. The role requires 0-1 years of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide massage services and body treatments using appropriate products and techniques.
• Assess guest needs and inquire about contraindications (*, allergies, high blood pressure, pregnancy) before beginning services.
• Stay updated with current techniques and modalities in the field of spa therapy.
• Escort guests to and from treatment rooms and arrange workstations, treatment rooms, and drapes.
• Ensure guest comfort, safety, and security throughout the service.
• Promote and sell spa/salon services, including retail offerings.
• Clean, maintain, and sterilize tools, and ensure the cleanliness of the workstation and treatment room.
• Monitor and adhere to the daily time schedule.
• Handle inappropriate guest behavior according to Marriott International standard operating procedures, which may include stopping a treatment and informing a supervisor.
• Maintain current skills and licensure in the service area as per regional requirements.
• Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to management and complete required safety training.
• Follow all company policies and procedures, maintain a professional appearance, ensure confidentiality, and protect company assets.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate their needs, and express genuine appreciation.
• Communicate professionally and develop positive working relationships with colleagues.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 10 pounds without assistance.
• Possess fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination for manipulating objects.
