About the Role

NADEC is seeking a Specialist – MRP to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is crucial for ensuring the timely availability of materials to support production operations. The Specialist will be responsible for material requirements planning, inventory analysis, and coordinating material availability with production schedules.

Role Context and Collaboration

The Specialist – MRP will work closely with various departments, including Production, Procurement, Logistics, and other Supply Chain stakeholders. This collaborative approach ensures a smooth material flow and alignment with overall production plans. The role involves continuous monitoring and adjustment of material plans based on operational needs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop material requirements plans based on production schedules, forecasts, and historical demand.
  • Ensure materials are available on time to support production requirements.
  • Monitor inventory levels and identify shortages, excess, slow-moving, and obsolete materials.
  • Utilize MRP systems to forecast and plan material requirements.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and Procurement to address material shortages or delivery delays.
  • Work closely with Production Scheduling to align material availability with production plans.
  • Adjust material plans based on changes in production schedules or demand.
  • Analyze inventory, material consumption, lead times, and planning performance.
  • Prepare material planning reports and monitor key planning KPIs.
  • Collaborate with Production, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance to ensure smooth material flow.

Experience Requirements

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in material requirements planning or a similar supply chain role. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of MRP systems and inventory management principles.

Work Setting

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within NADEC's operational framework. The role requires active participation and collaboration across various internal departments to achieve material planning objectives.
