We are seeking a Sr. Network Security Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is critical for maintaining the security and performance of our network infrastructure across all operational regions.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the integrity, confidentiality, and high availability of Geidea's network infrastructure, including network security, across all Geidea regions. This is essential for providing maximum performance and meeting defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure the smooth operation of Geidea's network security infrastructure in KSA, UAE, India, and Egypt, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting of CISCO Routers and switches, Firewalls (Fortigate, Palo Alto), F5, and any new assigned technologies.
• Configure and maintain all PCI rules for network and security devices within Geidea's PCI Scope.
• Provide L3 level support and resolve complex networking problems.
• Ensure comprehensive coverage of all factors affecting network and security areas, and that security equipment is installed at precise network locations.
• Maintain backup configurations in a timely manner.
• Prepare and update all documentation related to NOC, LAN, WAN, and NSP Network infrastructure, including High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) Diagrams.
• Investigate and resolve issues on Geidea's network using established troubleshooting methodologies.
• Ensure accurate recording of all cases using the Company’s ticket management tool and close them within agreed timeframes.
• Share knowledge across the network team and enable best practices by involving team members in new configurations or activities within Geidea offices, NSP, and GMB Acquiring.
• Support and take ownership of new networking projects.
• Support the team with knowledge sharing through knowledge base communications (emails, how-to guides) and contributions at team meetings.
• Ensure tickets’ SLAs and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved.
• Adhere to escalation procedures, policies, and working practices, including following up with Network and Telecom suppliers for new solutions or troubleshooting.
• Ensure all records relating to Service Requests, Incidents, Problems, and Knowledge Management are completed accurately and within agreed timeframes.
• Adhere to Geidea’s information security practices and policies.
• Report events and disturbances jeopardizing security.
• Review and apply best practices related to PCI-DSS and other security frameworks applied by the Network team.

Required Experience and Qualifications

Candidates for the Sr. Network Security Engineer position should possess 5-10 years of professional experience in network security engineering. A strong background in managing and securing complex network infrastructures is essential for success in this role.

Essential Technical Expertise

• Proven proficiency in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting CISCO Routers and switches.
• Demonstrated expertise with leading firewall technologies, including Fortigate and Palo Alto.
• Experience with F5 solutions.
• In-depth knowledge and practical application of PCI-DSS and other relevant security frameworks.
• Ability to provide advanced (L3) support for complex network and security challenges.
