SR.OFFICER HSE

About the Role

Alfanar Projects is seeking a SR.OFFICER HSE to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role focuses on implementing and ensuring compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) requirements as per company policy. The successful candidate will be responsible for generating statistical reports related to incidents, accidents, near misses, and lost man-hours, contributing to a proactive safety culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and report employee illnesses or health concerns to facilitate timely action.
• Oversee and ensure the implementation of employee welfare programs.
• Supervise and ensure strict compliance with the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Identify potential risks and hazards, conduct assessments, and recommend control measures.
• Regularly update and review Hazard Identification, Risk Assessment, and Risk Control (HIRARC) to align with operational changes.
• Measure and analyze noise levels within factory premises, developing corrective actions and recommending suitable PPE.
• Prepare detailed reports on incidents, near misses, and accidents.
• Lead incident and accident investigations, including root cause analysis, corrective actions, and follow-up tracking.
• Support the implementation and monitoring of HSE requirements at project/site levels, ensuring compliance with company procedures and Saudi regulations.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections, participate in safety audits, and ensure effective close-out of corrective actions.
• Conduct daily follow-up on safety non-conformances to ensure timely rectification or escalation.
• Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection records, and incident documentation.
• Coordinate emergency response procedures, oversee fire safety management, and organize emergency drills.
• Support the implementation and continuous improvement of the site HSE management system.
• Promote a proactive safety culture and encourage employees to report hazards.
• Provide regular safety performance updates and recommendations to management.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor compliance with applicable safety requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of relevant experience.
