The Role of Sr. Site Engineer

El Seif Engineering Contracting is seeking a Sr. Site Engineer to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves managing a section of a construction project, providing technical advice, and supervising work crews and subcontractors on site. The primary objective is to ensure tasks are completed on time and within budget, adhering to the highest standards of precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development of KSA national employees to meet corporate objectives and Saudization targets.
• Provide input to Human Resources on succession planning, employee career growth, and organizational structure.
• Manage the team with high standards of respect, integrity, accountability, agility, quality, safety, and corporate governance.
• Ensure compliance with the Code of Ethics policy and promote company values across all functions.
• Manage the adoption and utilization of systems and ERP within the team.
• Supervise day-to-day responsibilities of the section team in accordance with project plans, company policies, and approved budgets.
• Oversee related equipment operations at the site and manage effective utilization.
• Assist the Construction Manager in preparing variation orders resulting from design or shop drawing approvals or client instructions.
• Follow up with project consultants for approval on designs, shop drawings, and material submittals.
• Report to the Construction Manager on the operational and financial status of the assigned project section.
• Monitor labor availability and calculate daily productivity to support project execution within budget and schedule.
• Follow up on the delivery and closeout of the project section in accordance with contractual arrangements and financial objectives.
• Prepare and present weekly section summary reports for the Construction Manager.
• Assist the Construction Manager in implementing directives to achieve high client satisfaction.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to establish detailed project plans, identifying key milestones and deliverables.
• Ensure health and safety compliance, including site inspections.
• Oversee the implementation of approved shop drawings as per specifications and standards.
• Support the Construction Manager in preparing all Inspection Requests by Consultant’s engineers.
• Review approved drawings, specifications, and standards.
• Optimize team and resource productivity to meet all targets on time and within budget.
• Ensure all tasks are carried out in accordance with approved project plans.
• Maintain full awareness of the company's QHSE plan implementation on site.
• Prepare daily site reports and complete all forms related to the assigned section.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 10+ years of experience in site engineering or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage sections of construction projects effectively.
• Strong technical knowledge and supervisory skills.
• Familiarity with project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, requiring on-site presence and active management of project sections.
