About the Role

alfanar is seeking a SR. SPECIALIST, FINANCIAL REPORTING to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to maintaining accurate financial reports, conducting comprehensive variance analysis, and providing essential support for budgeting, forecasting, and month-end closing processes. The specialist will ensure strict adherence to accounting standards and contribute significantly to the financial integrity of the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, ensuring full compliance with established accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, evaluate performance metrics, and provide actionable insights.
• Perform detailed variance analysis by comparing actual financial results with budgeted figures, highlighting performance deviations and areas for improvement.
• Assist in the development of financial forecasts and contribute to monthly plan updates, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
• Produce specific financial reports for different divisions, offering a clear and detailed overview of performance across various business areas.
• Calculate and verify month-end results, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of all reports, and provide comprehensive support during audit processes by preparing necessary documentation.

Operational Accountabilities

• Continuously update and enhance soft and technical skills relevant to the job function.
• Execute planned activities to meet operational and development targets according to defined schedules, utilizing resources effectively to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters.
• Provide periodic reports detailing any deviations from plans and the execution status of assigned tasks.
• Address and resolve operational problems as they arise, escalating complex issues to appropriate channels.
• Ensure adherence to quality requirements, contributing to the development of effective quality control measures and processes, including specifications for products, processes, or related activities.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, actively seeking opportunities for automation to enhance efficiency.
• Comply with all relevant company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable health, safety, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined work area to guarantee safety, legislative adherence, and the delivery of high-quality products/services.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting or a similar capacity.
