The company is seeking a Sr. Tendering Engineer Utilities to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position.

Role Purpose

The primary purpose of this role is to facilitate the seamless flow of sales inquiries, ensuring the prompt and accurate provision of quotations. The Sr. Tendering Engineer will coordinate various project activities, contributing to the efficient execution of tasks and fostering a cohesive environment that supports overall project success.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and process sales inquiries, ensuring completeness and clarity of requirements.
• Prepare accurate and timely technical and commercial quotations, ensuring alignment with customer specifications and internal standards.
• Execute tendering activities from inquiry to submission within defined timelines, analyzing requirements and developing compliant and optimized proposals.
• Support prequalification and documentation requirements as needed.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, planning, and sales teams to gather required inputs and ensure alignment of all stakeholders to deliver cohesive and competitive offers.
• Facilitate smooth communication to support timely decision-making.
• Support coordination of activities related to awarded projects to ensure continuity from tender to execution.
• Address technical clarifications and follow up on quotations and orders.
• Maintain accurate records of quotations, assumptions, and communications.
• Ensure adherence to company procedures, standards, and quality requirements.

General Accountabilities

• Obtain updated soft and technical skills relevant to the job.
• Perform planned activities to meet operational and development targets as per delivery schedules, utilizing resources effectively.
• Provide periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks.
• Solve any related problems that arise and escalate complex operational issues.
• Ensure quality requirements are met, developing effective quality control and processes.
• Coordinate well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, seeking automation opportunities.
• Comply with all related policies, procedures, and work instructions.
• Ensure compliance with relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined area of work activity.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Sr. Tendering Engineer Utilities position should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in a similar role.
