SSA Warehouse Specialist

Overview of the Role

GDC Middle East is seeking an SSA Warehouse Specialist to manage inventory within the SSA warehouse in Riyadh. This full-time role involves comprehensive logistics and supply chain management duties, ensuring efficient operations and accurate record-keeping for equipment and parts.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer supply chain management, including material requisition, inventory, and staff supervision.
• Prepare and maintain required forms, records, correspondence, reports, and files, ensuring proper documentation and on-time metrics.
• Maintain 100% accountability for all supplies and supply records assigned to the warehouse.
• Oversee ordering, purchasing, inventory control, and distribution of materials.
• Manage the organization's forecast planning function using inventory levels, production lead time, and demand, coordinating with vendors and customers to determine optimal inventory levels.
• Assist with daily warehousing operations, including receiving, material handling, transport, and coordination with other departments.
• Adhere to policies and procedures for testing and evaluating material precision and accuracy.
• Control disposal and recycling of items beyond economical repair in accordance with DoD and local regulations.
• Utilize system to generate reports and interpret results.
• Unload and upload incoming and outgoing inventory from trucks, stock inventory to warehouse locations, pull inventory for issue to customers, and operate material handling equipment.
• Follow policies and procedures for inventory handling, perform inventory cycle counts, research missing parts, and assign them to correct locations.
• Assist with shipping repair and return items, monthly inventory reports, stock level tracking, forecast and optimization, and warehouse transactions and quantities in the system.

Independence and Reporting

The SSA Warehouse Specialist performs duties within broad guidelines, with significant choice in methods. The role includes authority to provide input to the Warehouse Supervisor to assist with selecting and implementing goals and objectives related to duty execution. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Supervisor.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in warehouse operations or supply chain management.
• Demonstrated experience in inventory management, logistics, and supply chain processes.
• Proficiency in using systems for report generation and data interpretation.
• Familiarity with DoD and local regulations concerning item disposal and recycling is preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, focusing on the operational aspects of warehouse management within GDC Middle East.
