About the Role
KBR, Inc. is seeking a Stakeholder Manager to join its Programme Team in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is responsible for managing programme interfaces with key stakeholders for the DGDA Programme, ensuring effective communication and smooth project progression.
Project Context
The DGDA Programme involves a major infrastructure development for a mixed-use community in Riyadh. This project aims to establish a global landmark recognized for its unique vision and position as an authentic destination, creating a distinct, self-sustaining hub with iconic assets. KBR provides Project Management Consultancy (PMC) services for this initiative, encompassing project planning, controls, design and engineering management, and the implementation of development and early works packages.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders to facilitate effective communication between their respective agencies and the DGDA Programme.
- Support the Technical Team and Delivery Managers in driving project issues through relevant agencies to ensure project schedules are not impacted by stakeholder approvals and permits.
- Develop a thorough understanding of each stakeholder agency’s processes and challenges to enable the DGDA Phase 2 PMC team to tailor requirements accordingly.
- Provide feedback on stakeholder issues to the PMC team, ensuring appropriate timescales for all approvals and permits are included within project schedules.
- Attend coordination meetings with stakeholders and communicate issues, concerns, and actions to the appropriate Manager.
- Support the Technical Team and Delivery Managers in resolving issues between stakeholders, Design Consultants, and Contractors.
- Assist the Interface and Engineering Teams during meetings and discussions with stakeholders.
- Maintain comprehensive records of stakeholder concerns, actions, assigned owners, and due dates.
- Prepare recommendations to improve communication and approval procedures with stakeholders.
Reporting and Collaboration
The Stakeholder Manager reports to both the Project Director and the Technical Director within the Programme Team. This role requires close collaboration with various internal teams, including Technical, Delivery, Interface, and Engineering Managers.
Qualifications and Experience
- A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in stakeholder management, project management, or a related field, preferably within large-scale infrastructure or development projects.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective professional relationships with diverse external agencies and internal teams.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills are essential.
- Familiarity with project planning, controls, and approval processes in complex environments.

This full-time position is based in Al Kharj, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, supporting a significant development project in the region.
