About the Steward Role

Courtyard by Marriott in Riyadh is seeking a Steward to join our full-time team. This role is essential in supporting the vital functions of our hotel operations, ensuring cleanliness and efficiency across various departments.

Role Contribution

Stewards play a crucial part in maintaining the high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction. Associates in this position contribute significantly to areas such as the kitchen, food and beverage services, and laundry operations by fulfilling essential cleaning requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and ensure the availability of fresh, clean linen and spotless dining ware for guests.
• Operate and maintain various cleaning equipment and tools, including dishwashing machines, hand wash stations, and linen washers and dryers.
• Transport dishware or linens efficiently across different areas of the hotel.
• Adhere to all company policies and procedures, upholding established quality standards.
• Maintain a professional uniform, personal appearance, and communication style at all times.
• Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 50 pounds without assistance.
• Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods as required by the role.
• Perform physical tasks including reaching overhead and below the knees, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Execute other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
