Majid Al Futtaim is seeking a dedicated Store Manager for its supermarket operations in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is central to ensuring operational excellence and sustained business growth within the assigned supermarket.

The Role of Store Manager – Supermarket

The Store Manager – Supermarket is responsible for overseeing all aspects of supermarket operations. This includes ensuring seamless service delivery, driving maximum sales and profitability, and optimizing stock management. The role holder is also tasked with enhancing customer satisfaction, fostering continued business growth, and implementing action plans for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement MAF Retail’s supermarket plans in alignment with established strategies and procedures, collaborating with Head Office and Corporate Office.
• Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to evaluate commercial performance and provide recommendations to enhance profitability and sales turnover.
• Maximize sales and profitability by effectively controlling costs within budgetary guidelines.
• Review and analyze stock and sales reports, initiating corrective actions as necessary.
• Initiate and ensure the application of comparative studies between departments to improve commercial performance efficiency.
• Coordinate regularly with Department Heads to ensure effective stock management, including stock value, out-of-stock situations, orders, and timely merchandise deliveries.
• Supervise the ongoing service and maintenance of the supermarket’s assets.
• Oversee the enhancement of hygiene standards and ensure the supermarket’s safety and security protocols are maintained.

Required Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in supermarket management or a similar retail leadership role.
