About the Role

Ghithaa (غِذاء) is seeking an experienced Storekeeper to join our Operations team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to managing the efficient flow and control of all materials within our facilities, ensuring operational continuity and adherence to quality standards.

Role Purpose

The Storekeeper is responsible for the comprehensive management of receiving, storage, issuing, and inventory control for food ingredients, packaging, consumables, and operational supplies. A key focus of this position is to maintain stock accuracy, ensure proper storage conditions, uphold food safety standards, facilitate traceability, and guarantee timely availability of materials for production and dispatch operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the receiving, storing, issuing, transferring, and returning of all materials.
• Ensure accurate inventory records, stock availability, and effective stock control.
• Apply FIFO/FEFO principles and monitor expiry dates to minimize waste.
• Ensure proper storage conditions, including temperature control, hygiene, and food safety.
• Conduct regular stock counts and investigate any inventory variances.
• Monitor stock levels, identify shortages, and track wastage or damaged/expired items.
• Ensure that ingredients, packaging, and operational supplies are readily available for production and dispatch.
• Coordinate effectively with the Kitchen, Procurement, Quality, Finance, and Operations teams.
• Maintain accurate inventory and receiving documentation.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in warehouse, stores, food production, catering, restaurant, or central kitchen operations.
• Experience specifically with food ingredients and packaging is highly preferred.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, requiring a dedicated individual to manage inventory operations within a dynamic food production environment.
