About the Storekeeper Role

Leylaty Group is seeking a dedicated Storekeeper to manage inventory for its hospitality, banqueting, and restaurant operations in Riyadh. This full-time position requires efficient receipt, storage, and issuance of all inventory items to ensure operational continuity and minimize waste. The role is crucial for maintaining accurate stock levels and up-to-date inventory records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against purchase orders and delivery notes, ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Organize and store inventory items in designated locations, adhering to proper storage procedures.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the designated management system.
  • Monitor stock levels, reporting any shortages, overstock situations, or discrepancies.
  • Issue products, supplies, food ingredients, beverages, and operational materials to departments based on approved requisitions.
  • Ensure adherence to FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory practices.
  • Monitor expiry dates and coordinate the disposal or return of expired items.
  • Conduct daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts and assist in periodic inventory audits and reconciliations.
  • Investigate inventory variances and report findings to management.
  • Maintain the cleanliness, safety, and organization of all storage areas.
  • Ensure appropriate temperature and storage conditions for sensitive products.
  • Coordinate with Purchasing, Finance, Kitchen, Banquet Operations, and Restaurant Management regarding inventory needs.
  • Prepare inventory, stock consumption, and variance reports.
  • Support cost-control initiatives through effective inventory management.

Qualifications and Experience

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in inventory or warehouse management is preferred.
  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of experience as a Storekeeper, preferably within hospitality, hotel, catering, banqueting, or restaurant operations.
  • Knowledge of inventory management systems and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Understanding of food safety, storage procedures, and stock control methods.
  • Proficiency in English, including the ability to speak, read, and write effectively.
  • A valid driving license is mandatory.
  • Ability to drive company vehicles when required.

Essential Skills

  • Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
  • Attention to detail in managing inventory and documentation.
