Strategic & Digital Transformation Manager

About the Role

SAB is seeking a Strategic & Digital Transformation Manager to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves acting as a Product Owner for corporate banking digital platforms, leading strategic planning, and driving digital transformation initiatives within the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as Product Owner for assigned corporate banking digital platforms and solutions, leading end-to-end product development, implementation, and commercialization.
• Lead strategic planning, develop digital transformation roadmaps, and drive the execution of strategic initiatives and action plans.
• Prepare business cases, secure management approvals, and track project progress, financial benefits, and business value realization.
• Define business requirements based on customer feedback, research, Net Promoter Score (NPS), business needs from corporate banking stakeholders, system data, process analysis, operational insights, market research, competitor benchmarking, emerging technologies, digital innovation opportunities, and risk, governance, audit, and regulatory requirements.
• Own and prioritize Product Backlogs, define User Stories and Acceptance Criteria, and collaborate with technology teams to deliver business requirements.
• Lead User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) design in collaboration with UX/UI teams, utilizing tools such as Figma.
• Drive Artificial Intelligence (AI) adoption and AI-enabled digital product development to enhance customer experience, productivity, and operational efficiency.
• Manage Agile project delivery in collaboration with IT and business stakeholders, leveraging tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Lead digital product launches and commercialization, including user training, communications, change management, and adoption.
• Collaborate with IT teams to ensure platform stability, effective user support, and continuous system enhancements.
• Drive process simplification, automation, and operational efficiencies through customer journey mapping, process redesign, and continuous improvement.
• Implement and monitor customer experience and performance metrics, including NPS, customer satisfaction, SLAs, and turnaround times (TAT).
• Identify, manage, and escalate project risks, challenges, and issues to ensure successful delivery.
• Govern the implementation of risk-related policies and processes (operational, regulatory, financial, informational, reputational, and audit risks) for the department, ensuring compliance with regulatory and internal control requirements.
• Review the implementation of internal control systems in line with relevant operating procedures and regulatory requirements, taking corrective action based on audit findings.
• Coordinate the implementation of Strategic & Digital Transformation initiatives and projects, ensuring timely rollout.
• Coordinate and collaborate with Corporate Banking stakeholders.
• Endorse streamlining, SLAs, TATs, simplified scorecards, and risk management.
• Approve streamlining initiatives and budgets.
• Endorse Information Security Risk (ISR) concerns regarding third-party vendors and outsourcing.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Prior experience as a Product Owner within business teams.
• Experience in digital transformation, AI, data automation, and digital product delivery, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.

Preferred Certifications

• Professional certifications in AI, Agile, Project Management, Lean Six Sigma, or Design Thinking are preferred.
• Certifications in digital platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Pega, Salesforce, or SAP are an advantage.
